MACH 2016 – Best ever for M.A.Ford Europe

As the dust settles on the recent MACH 2016 exhibition held at the NEC Birmingham, it has proven to be the most successful UK show to date for M.A Ford Europe, with the high levels of interest, enquiries and new orders taken at the show outstripping expectations.

David Ward, M.A. Ford Europe’s Managing Director was delighted with the exhibition. He said: ”Since the last MACH show in 2014, we’ve invested an immense amount of time and effort in new product development, as well as expanding our scope of our business with the introduction of our Integrated Manufacturing Solutions services, which has clearly had an impact.

He added: “As our tooling is most impressive when its actually being used, we installed a Haas VF-2SS vertical machining centre on the stand, which attracted a huge amount interest from the moment we switched it on and started cutting metal, as visitors were keen to learn more about the high metal removal rates and precision we achieved with the tools.”

This year’s MACH exhibition was a key focus for M.A. Ford Europe with the company launching a number of completely new tooling ranges, as well as introducing new products that extend the capabilities of existing offerings.

Key among these were the V5LCB high performance solid carbide end mills and the PRXS high penetration drill range, as well as the 239 Series diamond coated routers for machining composites, CFRP and stacked composites together with a new thread production tooling range, which incorporates both high performance solid carbide thread mills and HSS-E roll forming taps.

“We’ve experienced strong growth in all our key European markets since the last MACH exhibition and that trend is continuing into 2016 with the securing of new orders in the early part of the year and at this year’s MACH. We have outstanding products, exceptional technical and manufacturing expertise and a clear focus on customer service, which I believe have all been factors in helping make MACH 2016 an even greater success for us.”
