The continued success and sales growth at M.A. Ford Europe, which is part of US based global high performance tooling manufacturer M.A. Ford Manufacturing Co, has prompted the company to further develop its sales operations with the appointment of Stephen James as Sales Director.
Stephen’s new role, which is a promotion from his previous position as Sales Manager, is the latest in a series of new appointments in the UK and Europe, as the company extends the scope and depth of its sales and technical support operations in Europe, as well as Asia.
With more than 30 years cutting tool industry experience in both technical sales and senior management roles, Stephen originally joined M.A. Ford Europe in 2007. Following promotions to Senior Technical Sales Manager and then Sales Manager, Stephen now has responsibility for the company’s UK and international sales team and distribution network.
David Ward, M.A. Ford Europe’s Managing Director, said: “Stephen's continued track record of success with us is impressive, but it’s also his experience, level of professionalism, technical and organisational skills that were a significant factor in his promotion to Sales Director. We constantly set ourselves ambitious growth targets and Stephen has been instrumental in ensuring we achieve them by opening up and capitalising on new UK and international market opportunities.”
