At just under 2 metres tall, James Hayes’ extensive technical knowledge is also matched by his height. As Technical Support Engineer, based at our Derby HQ, James has a central role in providing technical support to the sales team, as well as direct involvement in R&D testing and the production of technical information and literature.
A qualified engineer, he completed an advanced level apprenticeship with distinction before joining us in June 2023, having already gained experience as a CNC programmer and fixture designer in both subcontract manufacturing and advanced engineering polymers.
When he’s not testing new tools or calculating optimised speeds and feeds, James can be found putting his height and reach advantage to good use, either as goalkeeper for AFC North Kilworth or stretching across a snooker table at his local club.
