Launched at EMO 2023, our new 5-flute XV5CB end mills are designed to deliver exceptional metal removal on ISO P, M & S materials with up to 4xD axial engagement. Using our high performance ALtima® Q coating, staggered chip-breakers, and open-end geometry for aggressive engagement, they are ideally suited to dynamic milling strategies.
Available in 2xD; 3xD and 4xD flute length options and diameters from 10mm to 20mm, XV5CB end mills combine variable pitch geometry flutes and a thick core.
These features minimise harmonic vibration and increase strength while enabling speeds of up to 350m/min to be achieved and a 0.12mm feed per tooth. Through coolant is also available on the 3xD flute length option.
