As the dust settles on MACH 2018, the show’s organisers and exhibitors go through the process of analysing statistics and reviewing its effectiveness, but for M.A. Ford Europe, the exhibition has proven to be a resounding success.
In addition to having a record number of visitors on the stand at the show, the level of enquiries also reached an all time high with interest spanning across the company’s entire product range with the new products launched at the show unsurprisingly attracting the most attention.
David Ward, M.A. Ford Europe’s Managing Director said: “We probably invested more time and effort into MACH this year than ever before, as our growing team and increasing product range demands that we devote time to getting everything right for the show. Throughout its duration, our experienced technical sales managers and senior management team were always on hand to deal with questions and help visitors with a range of information.
“But the team extends way beyond the show back to our head office an manufacturing operations, where additional support was always available and requests for information and brochures from prospective customers, for example, were processed next day wherever possible. We have also found that the quality of enquiries we received were also of a very high calibre and the sales already setting up tooling demonstrations and follow up meetings.”
It seems that MACH 2018 was also a success for the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA), who organised the exhibition. Their post show evaluation showed that trade visitor numbers increased by 5% over MACH 2016, reaching a figure of 23,125, with more than 7,300 of these attending on the peak day.
