M.A. Ford on show at Made in Yorkshire

This year’s Made in Yorkshire Expo has taken on extra significance for M.A. Ford Europe, as 2019 marks the 100th anniversary of our US parent company, M.A. Ford Manufacturing Co. Inc.

Although various celebrations the being held throughout the year, business carries on as normal and the Yorkshire Expo is a key part of our European exhibition activity during the year, which culminates with the our attendance at EMO Hanover in September.

Yorkshire Expo ise being staged at the Centenary Pavilion on Elland Road on 23rd May from 08:00 until 14:00 and we will be exhibiting products from our extensive range of high performance cutting tools and machining solutions, which includes a number of new end-mills, drills, as well as other solid carbide and indexable insert tooling.

Our Custom Tools Division is located less than 2 miles from the show’s venue, so it’s an ideal opportunity to meet with local businesses in the North-West, which has a vibrant and substantial manufacturing community.

M.A. Ford Europe's Manufacturing Director, Chris Wagstaff, explained: “UK manufacturing is a key focus for us, even though we are an international business serving markets across Europe. As a manufacturer and a member of ‘Made in Yorkshire’, we’re always keen to support the region’s business community and take the opportunity to build awareness of M.A. Ford at events such as this.”
