Stuart Hull has been appointed as Technical Sales Manager by M.A Ford Europe to extend its sales, product application and technical support services to manufacturers in the West Midlands, Shropshire and Worcestershire.
Stuart (left) is welcomed by Sales Director, Stephen James.
A qualified engineer with more than 30 years of experience in high volume and batch production manufacturing in the automotive, aerospace and power transmission sectors, together with a range of OEM and sub-contract manufacturers, Stuart joins the company from Walter GB.
He started his career designing and manufacturing tools with Galtona and during 11 years with the company held several key positions, including Sales Manager. He then joined LMT UK as Area Sales Manager where he project managed the development of new tooling solutions and machining strategies for customers.
After working with tooling distributor, Castle Carbide, where he helped lead company’s expansion into new territories, Stuart joined Water GB in 2013 as Field Sales Engineer responsible for key accounts.
Stuart’s role at M.A. Ford encompasses all aspects of the company’s high-performance tooling and application engineering resources, as well as its broader range of integrated manufacturing solutions, which include Rego-Fix® tool holding, HSM tool path optimisation, Spike® cutting force analysis and TMS tool inventory control.
MA. Ford Europe’s Sales Director, Stephen James, explained: “We’re delighted that Stuart has chosen to join us, as his experience in tooling design and manufacture alongside his detailed knowledge of high-performance machining will be a tremendous benefit to our customers in the Midlands, as well as the M.A. Ford team.”
He added: “It’s essential that we continue to innovate, enhance and extend our offer to customers and the market place in general, so Stuart’s skills and experience are a perfect fit for our vision and business aims.”
