Live machining demonstrations and new products at MACH

Visit us at MACH 2026 on Stand 489 in Hall 20.

Alongside several new products scheduled for launch at MACH 2026, M.A. Ford Europe will be running live machining demonstrations throughout the show, with high performance tooling for steel and aluminium being put through their paces on a Haas VF-2SSYT.

One of the key new end mill ranges from M.A. Ford is the 8-flute Series XMH, which features an advanced geometry engineered to deliver exceptional performance with hardened steels, and other metals up to 70HRC, on roughing, semi-finishing and finishing applications.

Available in diameters from 6.0mm to 16.0mm, the XMH combines the ALtima® Xtreme coating, high flute count and negative radial rake geometry, with a 45 degree helix to help deliver improved cutting performance at higher feed rates. Manufactured from a high hardness sub-micron carbide substrate, the XMH also have enhanced wear resistance and extended tool life.

The new 8-flute XMH and 9-flute XV9 end mills
Together with the 8-flute XMH, our new 9-flute Series XV9 end mills are also being launched at MACH. While its advanced flute geometry is engineered for use on a wide range of ferrous metals, it also enables high metal removal and finishing in dynamic milling of tough to machine materials, such as stainless steels, titanium and high temp alloys.

With a diameter range spanning 8.0mm to 16.0mm, the Series XV9 uses the latest high performance ALtima® Q coating which provides optimal heat and wear resistance, as well as extending tool life.

The XV9’s versatility, also extends to the tool options, which includes a choice of continuous edge or staggered chip breakers, for improved chip control, as well as a Weldon HB shank for the chip-breaker variant. The new product line up continues with the Series 137V5R and Series 137TWF, two additions to the TuffCut® X-AL range of high performance end mills for aluminium, as well as the FordMAX CGFR router for machining CFRP and glass fibre.

Combining aggressive chip breaker geometry, through coolant and Fordlube coating, the 5-flute Series 137V5R roughers deliver exceptional metal removal and chip control on aluminium alloys with reduced power consumption. Available in diameters of 12mm and 16mm with HA and HB Weldon shank options, necked flute lengths of 3xD and 5xD are also offered within the range.

The 5-flute Series 137TWF ‘Thin Wall Finisher’ is designed for thin wall machining in a single pass to improve cycle times within the aerospace industry, the 137TWF helps overcome distortion and stepped machining issues encountered during finishing of slender structures, such as spars and wing ribs.

Our 137V5R, 137TWF for aluminium and CGFR for composites are on show at MACH 2026

With square or corner radius options and diameters from 6.0mm to 16.0mm, the 137TWF also incorporates through coolant to improve chip evacuation, and Fordlube coating for extended tool life in aluminium alloys, making it ideal for precision finish machining in non-aerospace applications.

FordMAX Series CGFR routers are designed to provide excellent performance and improved finish when machining CFRP, GRP and other fibre reinforced composite materials. Combining staggered chip breakers and a positive rake design, they relieve cutting pressure to produce smaller fibre chips while enhancing surface finish and reducing delamination risk. Available in diameters from 4.0mm to 20.0mm, the CGFR’s optimised carbide substrate delivers extended tool life, while the end-cut geometry enables efficient plunging, ramping and slotting operations.

Two interactive demonstration areas will also be on our stand at MACH with our latest automated tool management and inventory control unit, the TMS-X and an extensive REGO-FIX display showing the full scope and benefits of the range, for which M.A. Ford Europe is the UK’s sole distributor.
